Course content

The Masters Course combines the fields of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing to provide students with a strong theoretical and conceptual background and vocational training in these inter-related topics. The course particularly focuses on conveying new approaches to data processing, analysis and interpretation as well as encouraging the uptake of innovative technologies (e.g. unmanned airborne vehicles). The integration of data from different sensors observing at a range of temporal, spatial and spectral scales and within the framework of GIS is a major focus of the teaching.
