Course content

MA User Experience (UX/UI) is a research-led, practice-focused course designed for students who want to strengthen their understanding of user-centred design, develop advanced creative and strategic skills, and critically explore the cultural and ethical dimensions of digital experience.

Whether you're progressing directly from an undergraduate degree, or returning to study after time in industry, you'll be supported in navigating new methods of enquiry, reflecting on your practice, and shaping your personal design direction.

You'll engage with complex design challenges, live briefs, and interdisciplinary collaboration – producing high-quality portfolios that blend research insight with refined visual and interaction design. Ethical and values-driven design underpins the course, encouraging you to address themes such as accessibility, inclusion, digital wellbeing, and data ethics through both critical discourse and applied practice.
