Whether you're studying entirely online or through a blend of face-to-face and online learning in September 2021, you'll need a computer and reliable internet access to successfully engage with your course. Before starting the course, we recommend that you check our technical requirements for online learning. Our published entry requirements are a guide only and our decision will be based on your overall suitability for the course as well as whether you meet the minimum entry requirements. Course content

Studying our MSc Pharmaceutical Science will expand your knowledge of the design, analysis and manufacturing processes of effective and safe pharmaceutical products.

Our SuperLabs and Pharmaceutical Research Lab in Chelmsford will become your workspace as you carry out safe and ethical experiments while meeting world-class pharmaceutical standards. You’ll develop scientific-reasoning and problem-solving skills in addition to deepen your understanding of quality control and quality assurance of pharmaceutical products.

You’ll also develop a wider knowledge of the integral parts of the pharmaceutical industry including research, development, manufacturing, distribution, marketing and sales.
