ACCA Qualification (School Leaver)

Entry requirements

Our students have a variety of backgrounds and experience – having previous experience of accountancy is not required.

If you have two A Levels and three GCSEs in five separate subjects including English and maths (or equivalent qualifications), you can start your studies directly at the ACCA Qualification, and on completion you'll become an ACCA member.

If you don't have these qualifications, you can start at our Foundations in Accountancy qualifications and then progress onto the ACCA Qualification.

How to Apply

If you’ve made the decision to start studying ACCA, all you need to do is complete the application form. It should take you about 10 minutes. You'll need the following to complete your application:

• proof of your qualifications, such as award certificate
• proof of your identity, such as a copy of your passport or birth certificate
• a passport style photograph.

For official documents such as award certificates and passports, don’t send us the originals. Copies are all we need

Accountancy is essential to all sectors and industries. The ACCA Qualification will enable you to work in a wide variety of sectors and job roles such as:

• Corporate Sector: Management accountant, business analyst, risk manager, group accountant.
• Financial Services Sector: Risk manager, corporate financier, anti-money laundering officer and fund accountant
• Public Sector: Finance manager, management accountant, internal auditor, financial accountant.
• Public practice sector: Audit/Assurance trainee, tax consultant, forensic accountant, business advisor and financial analyst.

Our qualifications are flexible – you can learn in your own way, at your own pace. And you can take exams at a time that suits you. There are many different ways to study – you can choose the path that works best for you. You can study online or face-to-face - and full-time or part-time, depending on your schedule.

With the ACCA qualification you get a much deeper and more rounded approach than the purely technical. It will provide the most up-to-date skills, knowledge and values you need to have a successful career and lead the organisations you work with into the future.

The journey will take you through a combination of exams, ethics and three years' professional experience. Which means you’ll enter the workplace ready to make a difference in today’s fast-paced business world.

If you are just starting out in accounting and finance or already working in finance but have no formal qualifications, you can start your journey with ACCA at our foundation level. ACCA also supports apprenticeships and offer two qualifications which are suitable for school leavers.
