Entry requirements

A 2:2 or above in an undergraduate Law degree or 2:2 or above in a joint honours degree where Law is a major component eg Finance and Accounting.

If English is not your first language you require an IELTS overall score of 6.0 with no element below 5.5 for most standard undergraduate and postgraduate courses. There are some exceptions and if the IELTS requirement differs it will be specified on the course page.
Applicants without a degree in law or combined honours, but having studied Law as a component part of their degree, will also be considered on a discretionary basis, taking into consideration any relevant work experience. See below under further entry requirements for more details.

Course content

This course gives you a complete understanding of the commercial world through developing knowledge of international law and international business in tandem.

The LLM prepares you for effective roles in the international law and business arenas either as practitioners or as academics, undertaking further research in this dynamic field. The course aims to develop your knowledge of core concepts and theories in international law and business as well as problem-solving skills, academic and practice-based writing so you are equipped with skills for either a life in academia or practice in the international law and business field.
We have small classes that allow us to engage with you at a more personal level so we can work with you on developing your full potential.
With classes ranging from 10- 15 students you have the benefit of collaborative learning with personalised attention from your module leaders and lecturers.
We use a variety of assessment types so you can evidence a range of skills to employers through successful completion of these assessments
