Entry requirements
A first degree, or equivalent, with a minimum of 2:1 in a related subject to dietetic practice such as nutritional, nutritional sciences, biological and biomedical sciences or health professional education.
If you earned the qualification more than five years ago, you must either show successful study at level 6 or higher within the last five years, or show that you have significantly used this qualification in the last five years before starting the Dietetics course.
You should have evidence of training in research methods or dissertation at BSc level.
Knowledge of the dietetic profession and experience of health or social care related professional practice will be an advantage.
You must all successfully pass a values-based interview.
You will need to attain occupational health clearance to ensure you are fit to practice.

Professional accreditation
This MSc Dietetics degree is subject to approval by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and subject to accreditation by the British Dietetic Association (BDA). Subject to approval, graduates will be eligible to apply for registration as a dietitian.

Specialist facilities
As a healthcare student, you will have access to our specialist, industry-relevant, simulation facilities. The state of the art simulation suite allows you to practice your clinical skills in a fully-equipped, realistic environment, including hospital wards and a soon to be built lab. Fees and funding
Home tuition fees will be £9,790 and International tuition fees will be £17,000 for the 2026/27 academic year.

NHS Learning Support Fund
Students on a Dietetics course may be eligible to apply for an NHS Learning Support Fund of at least £5,000 a year to help with living costs. Eligible students may also be awarded additional funding up to £3,000 a year. This money will not need to be repaid.
