Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS)
This degree has been accredited1 by the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) for the 2025/26 intakes, under licence from the Engineering Council (the UK regulator). Accreditation confirms that the course meets the academic standards set out by the Engineering Council in the UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence and Commitment (UK-SPEC).
Completing an accredited degree can help you on your pathway towards professional registration as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng). Achieving registration could require further learning and professional experience beyond your degree and additional costs may apply (see Royal Aeronautical Society website for full details and application processes).
Accreditation is valued by some employers and may be recognised in countries that are signatories to international engineering accords.
