An honours degree 2:2 or above (or international equivalent) in a biotechnology, bioscience or biological chemistry related discipline.

Course content

Extend your biotechnological skills and understanding with the option to specialise in one of three key areas: industrial and environmental biotechnology, molecular biology, or vaccinology and immunotherapy.

  • Participate in a laboratory-led and interactive learning environment to comprehensively understand the latest advancements in biotechnology.
  • Design, conduct and present an original, hypothesis-driven research project in biotechnology or your chosen specialist field.
  • The course integrates two International Certificate of Digital Literacy (ICDL) modules, Data Analytics and Big Data. You will be awarded an ICDL certificate and electronic badge on successful completion of each ICDL module.
