Course content
The course emphasises the four pillars of both physiotherapy and the NHS practice, working with acute patients, those managing long-term conditions and supporting preventative health. It aims to enhance your prior learning, preparing you for work in the UK and abroad.
- As a qualified physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to apply your previous learning and experience to expand your skill set and develop leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Expands your clinical reasoning, problem-solving and decision-making skills and evidence-informed practice, through research-inspired teaching and the use of industry-standard facilities, such as simulation.
- Empower yourself with a deeper understanding of health and care practices and the scope of practice for physiotherapists in the UK.

Accreditation and professional recognition
The module Leadership and Entrepreneurship meets the criteria set by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) for the CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice. Students who successfully pass this module will be eligible to gain the award as an additional qualification at no additional cost.
