You will need to have an honours degree in either science or engineering. Alternatively, you may apply with a lesser degree and relevant work experience.
Months of entry
Based over one year, the course will involve lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions and independent study. Part-time, the course will take place over three years with attendance of one day per week. Each year is split up into three trimesters.
- Advanced Mechanics of Materials and FEA, Advanced Structural Concrete 1 - Analysis, Advanced Structural Steel Design 1, Forensic Engineering
- Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Design, Advanced Structural Concrete 2 - Design, Advanced Structural Steel Design 2, Foundation Design to Eurocode 7
Completion of trimester 2 modules will qualify you for a Postgraduate Diploma.
