Entry requirements

Masters (MSc) level entry

Applicants must have one of the following:

  • For MSc entry, a good relevant Honours degree (first or second class) or equivalent overseas qualifications will be considered.
  • Corporate (or chartered) membership of relevant professional institutions will also be considered

PG Diploma level entry

  • Given the clear practical element of the programmes, we will also consider non-graduate candidates holding less than a good Honours degree, or its equivalent, but with compensating qualifications or experience may be admitted to the Postgraduate Diploma programme.

In Dubai, we recognise the IEREI’s ‘Certified Professional Diploma in Real Estate’ alongside a minimum of 2 years professional work experience in the real estate field (see https://www.ierei.ae/en/diploma/1)Admission via these routes will be at the discretion of the Director of Recruitment and/or Director of Studies. Transfer to the MSc will be possible later on if exams and course work are at MSc level.

Recognition of Prior Learning

We are committed to providing study opportunities to applicants who have a wide range of prior experiences through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). For more information on RPL, please contact the Admissions Team (studywithus@hw.ac.uk) ahead of application. We can only consider requests for RPL at the time of application to a course of study.

English language requirements

Where English was not the medium of instruction at secondary school, applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5 (with all elements passed at 6.0 or above). Applicants who have completed secondary and tertiary education will need to provide documentary evidence. A minimum of one year full-time study in English will be required.

Our internationally recognised MSc Real Estate is designed to align your skills to the educational requirements of the industry’s professional bodies. You will gain the key skills necessary to embark on a wide range of careers in the global real estate industry.

This Masters programme is especially suitable if you have a non-real estate related degree and desire to develop skills and knowledge in the real estate sector. The MSc will lead to exciting employment opportunities across the industry.
