Entry requirements

The MSc in Accounting, Audit & Control program caters to students with a Bachelor’s degree in any field wishing to explore the importance of financial reporting in the modern business environment.

The program is open to candidates with an undergraduate degree from a recognized university with strong academic performance and with a good command of English (IELTS 6.5, TOEFL IBT 85, TOEIC 850). Students with 6.0 IELTS may also be eligible for admission after successful interview with our overseas offices. Native English speakers or students who have had three years of courses taught in English are exempt.

No prior knowledge of French is needed; however French language classes are mandatory for non-French speakers as part of the program. A GMAT score is optional, not mandatory.

Course content

The MSc in Accounting, Audit & Control is a one year program completely taught in English designed for students wishing to achieve long-term career success, based on a solid foundation in financial reporting and analysis; in management accounting and decision-making; and financial advisory services.

The program provides participants with an understanding of modern financial reporting functions from a technical and institutional point of view enabling graduates to work in a wide variety of industries.

The Master of Science in Accounting, Audit & Control is designed to shape the participants’ understanding of contemporary financial reporting and advisory functions needed for the real business world.

The program is offered on a full-time basis and consists of 2 consecutive semesters of courses (September – May) followed by a professional experience (from June onwards).

The curriculum contains a wide range of core courses on elementary and advanced issues in financial reporting and management Control. It also features a series of elective courses allowing students to specialize in different areas within the domain of accounting, Audit & Control.

The MSc in Accounting, Audit & Control is aligned with prerequisites of international professional accountancy institutes (e.g., ACCA, CIMA and IMA) and students benefit from the program’s dedicated faculty which balance relevant academic and business experiences.

Unlike some other countries where international students pay a much higher tuition than domestic students, there is NO difference between tuition for French and international students at IÉSEG.

IÉSEG has a merit-based International Scholarship Program up to 50% tuition waiver per year. Selection is based on the applicant’s previous academic performance and overall application portfolio. The scholarship application is automatic; students do not need to apply separately.
