CISI Capital Markets Programme
Entry requirements
This qualification is suitable for anyone advising, working, or aspiring to work, in the securities and/or derivatives industry. No previous qualifications are required.
If you’re studying in the UK, Ireland, Europe or North America, you need to pass the CISI's IntegrityMatters test before sitting the Capital Markets Programme exams. This is an online ethics test which requires you to make ethical decisions around dilemmas that you might encounter in the workplace.

Course content
The qualification demonstrates commitment to the industry and is an FCA appropriate qualification for the activity of dealing in securities and derivatives. It also meets the ESMA Guideline (MiFID II) for wholesale investment advice in the UK and Europe.
The CISI Capital Markets Programme is achieved by passing a Regulatory Unit and a Technical Unit. The qualifications which form the Capital Markets Programme are recognised by Ofqual as the level 3 Certificate in Securities or level 3 Certificate in Derivatives.
