Course content

This course draws on various disciplines, such as sociology, political science, economics, history and contemporary policy making to provide a critical perspective on contemporary education management. At the same time, the course has a strong problem-solving perspective, which places education management in schools, colleges and universities within the current political, social and educational context. We will develop your evaluation and decision-making skills within real-life educational situations. You will benefit from this course no matter the level at which you teach, lecture or organise educational provision. It will enable you to reflect on your practice and to inform such reflections by extending your knowledge.
