Course content

The Division brings together physicists, chemists, biologists, mathematicians, IT specialists and clinicians working in medical imaging and image guided therapy into 4 Departments: Cardiovascular, Cancer, Biomedical Engineering and Chemistry/Biology. We are keen to recruit PhD students from all these disciplines.

The College has a wide range of work from studies of the basic science of imaging to research of specific clinical problems such as cardiology, neuropsychiatry, oncology, radiotherapy and surgery. Our work is carried out in close collaboration with other groups within the Medical School and associated hospitals.
