If English is your first language, you will need at least a 2:2 honours degree and a minimum of two years' full-time (1200 hours) English language teaching experience within the last five years or have substantial English language teaching work experience. If English is not your first language, you will also need to have IELTS 7.5 with no skill below 7.0 (or equivalent). You will be interviewed by an approved Delta trainer before beginning your course.
Months of entry
We provide academic and professional development for experienced English language teachers who are looking to advance their careers within the profession. Successful completion offers automatic entry on to semester two of the MA English Language Teaching (MA ELT).
You will refine your expertise through observed teaching practice with experienced tutors, and you will enhance your understanding of language and methodology by taking part in workshops, through reading and research, and by planning and teaching lessons and courses.
