Entry requirements

You should have at least a 2:2 honours degree in a related subject or equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment. IELTS: 6.0 with no skill below 5.5 (or equivalent).

Course content

Whether you are looking for a route into the construction industry or you want to progress your current career by becoming a chartered surveyor, your course will prepare you to progress to chartered building surveyor status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). You will study building pathology, construction law and the technology behind building refurbishment. You will also develop the theoretical appreciation and practical skills to repurpose existing buildings and efficiently maintain them once they have been renovated.
