Applicants should either have at least a second class honours degree or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment.

Course content
This professionally accredited course will equip you with a well-developed understanding of contemporary accounting issues, techniques and practices. You will explore the theoretical principles of accounting theory and the issues and challenges faced by companies when applying them in modern day business.
Your course has six core modules and you will select one option module in semester two. You could choose to study forensic accounting, investment fund management or financial decision analysis alongside your core modules.
The course is open to anyone interested in professional accounting who would like to gain professional accounting exam exemptions and/or a masters qualification. You will have some experience of accounting and finance, either at an undergraduate level or through work experience of accounting, business or management. On completion of this course, you will gain exemptions from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
