The MA Childhood and Education offers a unique opportunity to broaden your understanding of cricital issues and contemporary debates relating to childhood, society, culture and education. The programme is suitable for those looking to work, or if already working, advance their careers, in associated professions. It is an appropriate progression route for recent graduates in childhood studies, early childhood studies, psychology and education or other related subjects who wish to deepen their knowledge and understanding of key themes relevant to the diverse lives, experiences and education of children.

Delivered by academics and experienced practitioners, this MA offers excellent preparation for progression in and into professional work with children, young people and families or for those preparing to undertake further postgraduate or proddesional studies.

Information for international students

If English is not your first language, IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any component) or equivalent is the minimum requirement.
