Academic requirement for all applicants, a degree in any discipline OR be a mature student aged at least 20 years and supply evidence of at least three years relevant work experience, provide their curriculum vitae detailing any relevant work experience and academic achievements.

Course content

The Graduate Diploma in Management is designed to give people who already have a degree or extensive business experience an opportunity to extend their knowledge into the field of management without having to complete another degree.

This programme is ideal for you if you are seeking promotion in your existing employment, wish to widen your skill and knowledge base and keep ahead in the knowledge game or if you are considering a career change, including self-employment.

As a graduate of this programme, you will have the ability to think strategically and understand strategic issue facing organisations, develop and implement policy in the areas of operations and general management, and understand costing and financial management processes.

You will also be able to solve problems, both independently and as part of a team and be able to collect, critically review and communicate information effectively in both written and oral form to a wide variety of audiences, including other management experts.

Information for international students

If English is not the applicant's first language they must provide evidence of IELTS Academic score of 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each band, issued within the last two years OR equivalent.
