The MA Philosophy & Artificial Intelligence gives you deep insight into the philosophical foundations of AI. You’ll examine the nature of mind and computation, explore ethical questions around data and automation, and analyse how intelligent systems shape society.
The programme provides a strong grounding in philosophical reasoning and research methods, alongside the option to develop practical skills in programming and data analytics. You’ll progressively build the ability to evaluate concepts, theories and arguments, form your own well-supported views, and understand how philosophical thinking contributes to the responsible development of AI.
