Our Naval Architecture MSc will equip you with an understanding of naval architecture and its practical application. You will gain knowledge in advanced technical aspects of ship performance, hydrodynamics and structures together with commercial awareness of maritime business.

You will undertake advanced research on an appropriate marine related topic as part of an independent dissertation across all three semesters. You'll combine the skills and knowledge gained from the modules you've undertaken and develop your research skills on a relevant topic.

Information for international students

To study this course you need to meet our Band 2 English Language requirements: Direct Entry : IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills). If you have lower English Language scores, you may be accepted onto a Pre-sessional English Language course.
