Course content

In this postgraduate certificate, you’ll explore law in context, examining how legal systems interact with society in areas such as business, the environment, international law, human rights and criminal justice. You’ll engage with questions of social justice and sustainability while developing your ability to find and analyse legal sources and wider literature. You’ll strengthen your employability by developing and demonstrating practical skills in research, critical thinking, and legal analysis. This certificate provides a strong academic foundation, whether you want to deepen a personal interest, support your work in a law-related field, or to prepare you for further postgraduate study.
