Entry requirements
- A degree or diploma in Diagnostic Radiography or Therapeutic Radiography with HCPC registration, or equivalent.
- Current employment in a clinical environment offering relevant clinical experience associated with the specific module you are registered on.
- Modules require individuals to be working in the specific area of practice and have the support of a line manager and work place mentor.
Other registered healthcare professionals, such as nurses and doctors can register on the Advanced Practice modules. Please contact SABI for further information.

Course content
This MSc in Mammography course allows registered diagnostic or therapeutic radiographers working in breast imaging services to train as mammographers and further develop advanced clinical skills and reflective thinking in practice.
A postgraduate qualification in mammography is essential for mammographers working within the National Breast Screening Programmes. This modular, practice-based course will enable you to follow a pathway within mammography leading to advancement in specialist clinical skills. Additional CPD options can also be accessed by other registered health care professionals as well as radiographers.
The course is run in partnership with the Scottish Academy of Breast Imaging (SABI) based at the West of Scotland Breast Screening Centre in Glasgow. It is delivered part time
