Course content

The William Harvey Research Institute in collaboration with the Environment & Health Multidisciplinary Research Theme has developed a short course focusing on the Exposome in Health & Disease, which is fully online and the curriculum will be covered in a ‘taught course’ over three consecutive days. Teaching will be in the form of lectures and interactive activities from an international faculty.

This course is fully online (MS Teams) and the curriculum will be covered in a ‘taught course’ over three consecutive days. Teaching will be in the form of lectures and interactive activities from an international faculty. At the end of the course the successful candidate will receive a certificate of completion of The Exposome in Health and Disease from William Harvey Research Institute, Queen Mary University of London.

The programme for the three days sessions will be as follows:

  • Genetics & Epigenetics
  • Nutrition and health
  • Air pollution and health risks
  • Methodology for measuring and analysing pollutants
  • Microbiota
  • Health-environment interplay
  • Exposome
  • Artificial intelligence applications
  • Pandemics

The course fee will be £1000 per registrant. The fee will also include access to all recorded sessions and relevant material, including further reading references, after the end of the course.

The course will take place from 21 – 23 September 2022.
