Entry requirements
Applicants normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent in Computing or related subject such as Electronics and Information Systems. Applicants with a lower degree classification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis.

Course content
This Cyber Security degree is designed to equip you for a career at the forefront of cyber security. You’ll learn how to design and maintain secure information systems and networks, and to understand and manage threats to their security. The course will prepare you for an exciting career in a fast-paced, ever-changing field. Thanks to our state-of-the-art facilities, you will also be proficient in the use of modern equipment, principles, techniques, tools and methodologies for the design, implementation, maintenance and recovery of secure networks and information systems. You will understand legal requirements and current standards around information security, satisfying the demands of industry and IT providers for well-rounded computing practitioners who are expert in their holistic understanding of security issues.
Information for international students
Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or an equivalent.
