Entry requirements
- Applicants normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent in any NON-Computing discipline.
- Applicants with a lower degree classification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis.

Course content
The MSc Information Technology with Cyber Security course provides an opportunity for candidates wishing to formalise their existing IT experience with a qualification, and for graduates of non-computing disciplines to develop the specialist skills suitable to transition into an exciting career in computing, with a specialism in cyber security.
The course will provide you with the core computing and cyber security knowledge and skills required to work within a technical IT environment.
Throughout the course, content is complemented by practical work undertaken in state-of-the-art facilities, using tools and techniques to allow you to match software solutions to the needs of businesses. This practical element will increase your theoretical understanding by developing real-world problem-solving skills, enhancing your employability as a graduate.
Information for international students
Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or an equivalent.
