Entry requirements

We will accept graduates with a degree in a relevant discipline such as law, surveying, architecture, civil engineering, construction management or business management. The equivalent of a 2:2 UK honours degree is required. However, in the absence of a degree, significant practical experience in a relevant field can be an acceptable substitute.

Course content

Our Construction Law and Arbitration degree provides practical knowledge of Construction Law and Dispute Resolution. This course will equip the professional with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of key topics in the fields of construction law and dispute resolution. It is suitable for professionals who need to keep up-to-date with developments in these areas. There is the option of a Construction Adjudication route - adjudication is a very common form of dispute resolution in the UK construction industry.
The course offers flexible online study enabling busy professionals to study at their own pace. A previous degree in law is not a prerequisite for this course. The course is good for prospective students who are lawyers, surveyors, construction industry professionals, oil and gas professional, architects, contract managers and project managers.

Information for international students

Postgraduate courses normally require an IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in all 4 components. Some of our courses require a different level of English. Please check our course pages for specific details. Test reports are valid for a period of 2 years and can be used as proof of English for admission if valid on the start date of your course.
