Course content

    • Develop the core knowledge and competencies you’ll need to work in the environment sector.
    • Critically assess the theoretical basis for modern environmental policies and practice worldwide.
    • Design your own course within the wildlife & landscape management or international resource management routes.
    • Learn from staff with extensive research and professional experience.
    • You’ll study a course accredited by the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). We’ll introduce you to environmental experts and you’ll have the chance to work on live projects for real clients. You’ll tailor your studies to your own career goals, specialising in ecology & conservation or international resource management.

Information for international students

nternational qualifications are suitable if they are equivalent to a UK 2.2 honours degree.

If English is not your first language you typically need an IELTS 6.0 score with a minimum of 5.5 in all skills or equivalent. If your English language skill is currently below IELTS 6.0 we recommend you consider a Sheffield Hallam University Pre-sessional English course which will enable you to achieve an equivalent English score.
