We welcome applications from candidates who may not meet the exact academic entry requirements but have significant relevant experience, on application you will be referred to our course leader, who will evaluate your experience, this may involve an informal conversation either in person or by other media.

Course content

This fast-track conversion course teaches the skills necessary to become a Chartered Building Surveyor.

  • Learn key skills for a range of professional building surveying roles.
  • Develop your practical and theoretical knowledge of the challenges that affect human-made environments.
  • Study law, economics and specialist topics such as building pathology, heritage & conservation and design & specification.

You’ll study on a well-regarded course with strong graduate prospects. One of our former MSc students was chosen as the RICS Young Surveyor of the Year Award (Residential) for 2020. Accredited by The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered Institute of Building, this course is mapped to the Building Surveying pathway to RICS membership. It also offers a route to the Residential Surveying and Building Control pathways.
