Entry requirements

You should have a recognised UK Bachelor's degree, or international equivalent, in finance, economics or another appropriate discipline. Qualifications in other subjects will be assessed on their merits. Your application may be considered if you have previous education and experience, equivalent to a degree-level qualification, which includes suitable preliminary training.

Course content

Our MSc Finance (Quantitative Finance) equips with you specialist knowledge of statistical and quantitative approaches to risk and derivatives. Through the course, you will examine the techniques and foundation of risk management in corporations, as well as learning how derivatives have shaped the financial markets as we known them. You will also gain wider understanding of econometric principles and data analysis. The programme is particularly suitable if you have a first degree in engineering, applied science, applied mathematics, economics or similar.
