Course content

The MA Global Philosophy offers an advanced, globally diverse approach to philosophy, engaging with intellectual traditions from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. With a focus on applied philosophy, it addresses contemporary issues such as climate change, gender, race, and democracy. Building on SOAS’s expertise in World Philosophies, the programme provides a balanced exploration of global and European traditions without privileging any single perspective.
