Entry requirements
We assess the suitability of each applicant on a case-by-case basis. Applicants who do not meet the standard entry requirements are still encouraged to apply, with consideration given to relevant industry experience and the alignment of their undergraduate degree.

Course content
Champion an athlete’s recovery and enhance performance with our innovative Sports Rehabilitation master’s
Assess, treat, and prevent sports injuries on our Sport Rehabilitation master’s. You will balance theory and practical skills while covering:
- injury assessment
- the rehabilitation process
- patient and athlete management
- biomechanics and neuromuscular training
- research methods
You will also experience real-world clinical settings through 400 placement hours. Choose your own placement or lean on our support to assist you in completing your clinical placement.
Accredited by the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT)
Our Sports Rehabilitation MSc is one of the only postgraduate courses accredited by the BASRaT. After completing this degree, you will be eligible to enter the BASRaT register.
World-class facilities at a pioneering university
We were one of the first UK universities to offer Sport Rehabilitation degrees. Our innovative degree allows you access to our state-of-the-art Performance Education Centre, where you can apply knowledge, and practice exercise-based assessments and interventions.
You will also use our Biomechanics Laboratory and world-class sports facilities.
