A range of funding to help with the cost of your postgraduate degree
We understand that the cost of your studies is one of the most important factors when choosing a university for your postgraduate degree. Last year, we offered over £10 million in postgraduate scholarships, providing funding for a range of subject areas and qualifications.
Postgraduate funding is also available for UK/EU students starting eligible master’s programmes at Swansea.
English students can borrow up to £10,906 to cover the cost of their master’s studies, whilst Welsh students may be able to receive up to £17,000 in repayable loans and non-repayable grants. If you’re an English, Welsh or EU student looking to undertake a PhD level course with us, you may be able to borrow up to £25,700 towards the cost of your doctoral studies. Swansea University occupies an enviable position right on the coastline of Swansea Bay, with both of our campuses within walking distance of golden, sandy beaches. Whether you feel more at home on the beach or in the city, Swansea offers something for everyone. The University is just a short walk or bus ride away from Swansea’s city centre, which offers a variety of shops, restaurants, bars and cultural attractions. Just along the beach is the magnificent Gower Peninsula - the UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Gower provides the perfect natural environment for a range of sports, such as walking, climbing, surfing and mountain biking.
