Entry requirements

To undertake this course, we ask that you hold a Master’s degree in systemic psychotherapy or its equivalent, are working as a qualified systemic psychotherapist, and are three years post registration.

Course content

This well-established, year-long training offers experienced systemic psychotherapists the opportunity to:

  • Become an AFT-accredited systemic supervisor and consultant, able to train and develop the family therapy workforce of the future
  • Learn via a rich combination of theory, practice, supervision and consultation, discussing the work with peers and clinician-tutors
  • Draw on a range of theoretical models and the latest research to explore the most pressing debates and challenges in this field.

Graduates of this course have gone on to a variety of leadership positions – shaping the development of services, acting as change agents, and influencing the future of systemic psychotherapy training.
