Entry requirements

The normal entry requirement is one of the following: one of the following: - An honours degree (at least a 2:2) in a business-related/human resources related disciipline - A post experience or professional qualification - equivalent qualifications i(ncluding international qualifications) Applicants without a formal academic qualification but with appropriate work experience and professional training will also be considered.

Course content

This Masters degree is accredited by the UK professional body, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and addresses a wide spectrum of people management practices. It is designed for people either with experience in Human Resource Management/Development or those seeking an opportunity to enter the profession. It may also be of interest to Line Managers with significant people management responsibilities. Participants are encouraged to apply for student CIPD membership within the first few weeks of study. The membership grade awarded by CIPD is based on completion of the MA and practical workplace experience of HRM.
