You gain an understanding of the complex and changing context of human resource management (HRM), and the importance of resilience and sustainability in turbulent business environments. You develop an awareness of contemporary HRM issues in readiness for being a future-thinking practitioner with cutting-edge knowledge of human resource developments.
This course develops your knowledge and skills as a HRM practitioner, responsible for growing an agile and ethical workforce. You take the lead on managing the recruitment and development of employee talent within organisations, employing the right balance of staff in terms of skills and experience, and maximising employee and organisational performance.
The applied element allows you to develop practice-based solutions to real-world problems. You take on a consultancy role, working on projects or internships, identifying opportunities and ideas, before going on to present strategic solutions to the client. You develop personal and professional knowledge, skills and behaviours through a process of self-reflection on your practice.
