Level 2 Allergy Awareness for those Working in Adult Social Care

Entry requirements

This course is available via government funding, so at no cost to you. To be eligible for funding, you must be:

• Aged 19 or over
• Currently live in England or Scotland
• Have lived in the UK/EU for the last 3 years
• Have not previously enrolled on this course.

Course content

This qualification has been designed to provide skills and knowledge in a range of subjects related to allergies. These include the different types of allergens, allergies and intolerances, food labelling and packaging, how to recognise reactions, how to reduce risks, how to provide first aid, and more.
