Entry requirements

This course is available via government funding, so at no cost to you. To be eligible for funding, you must be:

• Aged 19 or over
• Currently live in England or Scotland
• Have lived in the UK/EU for the last 3 years
• Have not previously enrolled on this course.

Course content

This qualification covers the different types of medication and what they are used for. You will also gain an understanding of how to store and dispose of medicines in a safe way, how to administer medicines safely and how to ensure that record keeping and audits are completed correctly.
