Entry requirements
An upper-second class medical degree, MBBS, from a UK university or an equivalent degree from an overseas university is required. Recent MBBS graduates, surgeons in training or graduates with a BDS or BVSc degree are eligible to apply.

Surgical Sciences MSc combines surgical skills training (robotics and vascular and microsurgical, taught by specialists at The Griffin Institute), a cutting-edge research project and optional modules in applied surgical sciences. Designed to support and enhance your professional and academic development, whether you are a recent graduate or trainee surgeon, this course is for you. The MSc is suitable at any stage in your career, and you can study full-time (1 year), part-time (2 years) or flexibly (for up to 5 years).
