Entry requirements

A medical degree (MBBS) or a minimum of an upper second-class UK Bachelor’s degree in life or biomedical sciences (for example, neuroscience, pharmacology or chemistry) or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard.

An MRes in Translational Neuroscience provides in-depth training in research methodologies, preparing individuals for advanced research careers in neuroscience, particularly those focused on translating scientific discoveries into clinical applications. This degree equips graduates with the skills and knowledge to bridge the gap between preclinical discovery through to first-time-in-human studies.
