MSc; The usual entry qualification will be a good degree in a related discipline from a recognised university, or applicants who need to hold at least five years management experience in a relevant field coupled with appropriate educational qualifications. Postgraduate Diploma: A degree or equivalent from a recognised institution or at least five years' management experience.

Course content

This postgraduate qualification seeks to enhance candidates’ in-depth appreciation of the complex strategic and operational management tools that are applicable in the events industry. There is an emphasis in the application of theory and concepts to the events industry, so enhancing the ability to solve executive problems. In adopting a social science approach, the learning seeks to explore and critique operating and business environment issues with a view to adding value at corporate business level. The social interaction of people within the wider environment will form a basis for cognition and underpin the concepts examined.

Opportunities exist for a 3 or 6 month paid placement with this Masters degree.
