Engineering Management

A grade classification of 2:2 is required in a (Hons) bachelor's degree in engineering, physical sciences or a related engineering or technological discipline where relevant subject areas have been studied.

Work-based

We also consider applicants who are currently employed and wish to apply to University College Birmingham.

To apply, applicants in current relevant employment should possess a minimum of five years of relevant managerial experience in engineering and be able to provide a reference detailing roles and responsibilities from their line manager.

International students

Applicants with a first language other than English should possess IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any component, or equivalent

Studying our engineering master’s course will arm you with the essential knowledge to meet this need, enabling you to develop an advanced understanding of innovative and exciting technologies such as cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), nano and bio technologies and sustainable engineering.
