Course content

The MSc in Immunology is run within the School of Medicine by staff of the Immunology and Inflammation Research Theme. We offer a modularised course programme of individual taught courses, practical courses and project work courses. Each Course has a co-ordinator who is responsible for the organisation and delivery of that course. Aberdeen is a centre of excellence for Immunology, achieving 5* rating in the last RAE exercise, and all staff involved in this programme are actively involved in research providing a stimulating and rewarding working environment for our students.

The research intensive environment and variety of experience that we can offer to students of Immunology at Aberdeen equips the student to take advantage of the wide range of career opportunities available to immunologists. Some of our students will undertake further post-graduate study towards PhD degrees either in the UK or overseas.
