Course content

Summary

If you are interested in careers in government organisations, charities and business which require a specific level of understanding of wider issues which may impact specific transactions at state level or business interstate level, Strategic Studies allows you to scrutinise world affairs, understand risks and issues internationally.


You scrutinise world security issues, conflict, armed services, peace, international organisations and business around the world. You will understand the theory and practice of the use of power and force to address national and international security objectives.

Courses include: Strategic Theory, Religion Conflict and Security and your Dissertation. Optional courses include two courses from: Latin America: Security Conditions and Challenges, The Use of Force in International Law, Terrorism and Counter Terrorism, and Global Security Issues.
