Course content

The PGDE DLITE (Primary) programme is a part-time, distance learning 18 month programme of study (120 credits), which includes 18 weeks of school placement within your supporting local authority.

The programme makes use of blended learning opportunities; e-learning, face to face workshops supported by the local authority, self study, collaborative group work and professional practice on placement (18 weeks in total) to develop academic, personal and professional skills suitable for entry into the teaching profession.

Applicants can only apply where a partnership agreement exists between the Local Authority and the University. Our partners are Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Angus, Highland and Moray.
