Develop fundamental and specialised research skills across the dynamic fields of immunology and immunotherapy. Understand the complexities of the immune system and utilise this knowledge to manipulate immune responses and treat disease.
Conduct research to tackle infectious diseases, advance treatments for cancer and develop therapies for autoimmune disorders.
By pursuing the PhD/MSc by Research you’ll gain high quality research training that will enable you to conduct independent Investigative research with confidence and expertise. Research within the department is focused in three areas:
- Immune Regulation
- Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy
- Gut and Liver Inflammation
