From planes and batteries to hip implants and electronics, you’ll learn how to develop advanced materials for diverse applications. We’ll prepare you for an exciting career as a materials specialist in a range of industries.
What makes this course different:
Blend theory and practice to explore topics from materials modelling to surface engineering. We work closely with industrial partners, and you can experience the real-world potential of discoveries. Build your research skills with a major project in the University or in collaboration with a company. You can choose to have us provide the research supervisor and arrange facilities and resources. Or carry out your research project in an industrial research laboratory with both academic and industrial supervisors. You can choose this option if you’re seconded from industry.
