You should have a good Honours degree in Psychology or a related discipline appropriate to your intended studies. For MSc by Research we require at least a lower second-class Honours degree; for PhD we require at least an upper second-class Honours degree or a Masters qualification. If you have a lower second-class Honours degree you can apply initially for an MSc by Research and transfer to PhD if you are successful in your MSc examination.
