Entry requirements

The Midwifery course is open to those who hold a statutory midwifery qualification and current registration on Part X of the Professional Register maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. You will normally have completed a first degree or equivalent, and also usually have a minimum of two years' post-registration clinical experience.

Course content

This midwifery course is specifically designed for registered midwives and focuses on developing clinical skills (competences) and theoretical understanding. Some modules may also be shared with the MSc in Nursing.
